Photos: Gorgeous, High-End Dumplings Are Coming To Hyde Park

We've been waiting a long time for this opening: Packed, the new dumpling spot from Chef Mike Sheerin (Trenchermen, Cicchetti, Embeya) opens on Friday, and we've got a first look at the menu.

Sheerin has had a busy couple of years, as he opened (and then, sadly, closed) the beloved Cicchetti, and took over a bit of a mess at Embeya. But his food has stayed consistently amazing, and we can't wait to get a first taste of Packed.

Packed is on 57th Street in Hyde Park, and offers a complete menu of dumplings, including more traditional style "Packed" dumplings (with flavors like pastrami, peking duck and butternut squash), "Ladled" soup dumplings and even some "Sweet" dumplings, including pear and banana desserts.

There's also a creative drink menu. No booze, but some exclusive juices on tap from Harvest Juicery and a "Nitrogen-charged" coffee from Sparrow.

Most of the ingredients on the menu are locally sourced and organic, and the menu will rotate seasonally. The complete menu is below - take a look.
