The Chicago Transit Authority is warning of major delays on several train lines Thursday morning, due to heavy train traffic in the Loop and a signal problem at the Clark/Lake station.
The Brown Line was re-routed to the Inner Loop track as of 8:45 a.m., according to authorities, the Purple Line was re-routed to the Red Line track between Fullerton and Roosevelt stations, and the Pink, Green and Orange lines are experiencing delays as a result. Reports from some commuters say the Blue Line was also experiencing delays this morning as a result of the train back-up, though the Blue Line runs on a different track.
Due to signal problems on the Loop 'L' near Clark/Lake, Brown Line trains are being rerouted via Inner Loop (Orange Line side).
