This year is shaping up to be a very good year for Cheap Trick. The band could have simply rested on its laurels leading up to their induction to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame later this year. Instead they're hitting the road for along string of touring dates, with a stop in Chicago on July 19 playing with Heart and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts (!!!). But this is no nostalgia tour or simple victory lap. The band announced today that they'll be releasing their first album of new material in five years, Bang Zoom Crazy...Hello, on April 1.

The band released the first taste of what to expect from their new album this morning. And the track, "No Direction Home," has us excited for what else may come. The track is a sharp slap of power pop in the vein of the band's classic '70s output. Give a listen to the track below, and if you like it the band is offering free downloads in exchange for an email address.
