Photos: This Truly Odd-Looking Uptown Home Is On The Market

The Myron Bachman House is an unmistakable Uptown landmark. And now it can be yours for $475,000.

The house was originally built in 1890, but it's the 1948 remodeling by architect Bruce Goff that stands out, according to Curbed.

It's an interesting example of architecture that was very modern for 1948 and heavy on geometric shapes. The home was even made a Chicago Landmark in 1992, according to the Redfin listing.

When the owners put it on the market in August 2014, it was listed at $599,000 but didn't budge. The photos showed it had a lot of problems inside and outside so it's returned for a lower pricer and "looking cleaned up and much more photogenic," according to Curbed.

So if you're interested in owning a unique piece of architecture with a beautiful yard, this is your time to make a move:
