As anyone who’s anyone in the Ferris wheel scene knows, Navy Pier is getting a new Ferris wheel this year. The change has left many—well, maybe many is overstating it, but some—wondering what will happen to the old Ferris wheel.

It’s moving on to a new home, the Tribune reports: Branson, MO.

Chicago’s beloved 15-story Ferris wheel, which has been at Navy Pier since 1995, will now do it’s thing at The Track Family Fun Parks in Branson, according to the Tribune.

It was modeled after the Ferris wheel at the 1893 World Fair, but will now be replaced with something much more modern: a brand-new model worth $26.5 million, which is being installed as part of a general renovation of Navy Pier’s attractions, the Tribune reports.
