Pitchfork just announced the lineup for their 2016 music festival in Union Park and it's truly impressive.
Brian Wilson will be performing his classic album, The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds. The Welsh genre-swallowing power-poppers Super Furry Animals are coming out of semi-retirement and making the festival their Chicago stop. Canadians are bringing it stateside as well, with indie supergroup Broken Social Scene and popster Carly Rae Jepsen (who released one of our favorite albums last year) performing as well. Chicago is representing as well, with appearances by Twin Peaks and BJ The Chicago Kid.
The line-up announced so far is listed below. The festival is July 15 - 17 in Union Park, and tickets are on sale now. Three-day passes are available for $165 and single day passes will be available for $65.
