Watch President Obama Review Restaurants On 'Check, Please'

As we covered last week, the latest episode of Check, Please (the season 15 finale) was a bit different. They revealed a number of famous chefs' favorite restaurants, but they also re-ran some classic footage from the vault. And, back when he was a state senator, President Barack Obama appeared on Check, Please.

We've seen this footage before, but it's still fun to re-watch. Take a look back and remember when Obama's hair was still black, he had fewer wrinkles, and he didn't have to worry about Supreme Court nominations. He reviewed Dixie Kitchen and Bait Shop in Hyde Park, and spoke (in a way that is still relevant now) about how many neighborhoods are starved for great restaurants and retail.
