Celebrate Pi Day With These 6 Sweet Deals

It's Pi day, everyone. And in case you aren't a math geek, here's why: Pi to four decimal places is 3.1416. Look familiar? It's today: 3/14/16.

Even if you don't care about math, you should care about delicious, delicious pi. Lots of spots around the city are offering special deals, and here are a few of our favorites.

Cafe Selmarie, 4729 N. Lincoln Ave.is offering $3.14 off all whole pies, plus an expanded selection of individual pieces of pie to go.

Bittersweet Pastry, 1114 W. Belmont Ave. They're hosting a pie-themed pop up from 7 a.m. to noon today, with full sized pies, individual slices and "pie pops."

Shake Shack, 12 S. Michigan Ave. Shake Shack has teamed up with Bang Bang Pie Co to create "Bang Bang Pie Oh My concretes," a blend of vanilla custard and a slice of pie for, you guessed it, $3.14.

Cold Storage, 1000 W. Fulton Market. Pastry Chef (and sundae expert) Meg Galus will be offering three different pies at $3.14 a slice - a great way to end a decadent seafood dinner.

Delightful Pastries, Old Town (1710 N. Wells St.), Jefferson Park (5927 W. Lawrence Ave.) and the Chicago French Market (131 N. Clinton St.). In addition to $3.14 slices of pie, the first person at each location at 3:14 p.m. today gets a free slice!

Blaze Pizza, several locations - Custom pizza "pies" (get it) are just $3.14 each, which is a great bargain of more than 50 percent off.
