Police Investigating Suspicious Package Found On Bishop Ford Expressway

State police have shut down part of the South Side's Bishop Ford Expressway to investigate a suspicious package found there Wednesday afternoon.

The package, found in the northbound lanes at 157th Street, is being investigated by the Cook County Bomb Squad, according to WGN. The expressway was closed from 159th to 147th streets after 2:00 p.m. until further notice.
