Looks like the year-round tiki beach party in Logan Square is temporarily shut down: Lost Lake just announced they had a small fire.

At approximately 12:15 p.m. Monday, Lost Lake, Paul McGee's acclaimed Tiki Bar, posted the following note to its Facebook page:

Due to a small electrical fire that took place in the kitchen late last night, Lost Lake and Thank You will be closed temporarily for repairs. We’ll be back tiki-ing in no time — thanks for your patience and support! 🌴

On their website, there is a notification that they will be closed Tuesday-Thursday, but re-opening on Friday at 4 p.m. We've reached out to Lost Lake for more information and to confirm the ETA on reopening.

Update, 1:30 p.m.: We got an official statement from Lost Lake management. "The kitchen of Lost Lake and Thank You had a small electrical fire late Sunday night. Luckily, no one was hurt. We’ll be closed temporarily while we clean up and make repairs, but we hope to be back up and running soon.”
