This May Be The Best Brunch Deal In Chicago... And It's In The Loop

It's a bold claim, I know, but seriously-I'm not sure there's anywhere else in the city where you can get this kind of a deal. Latinicity has launched brunch in its downtown food court, and it's a doozy.

We weren't huge fans of Pata Negra, the upscale restaurant within Latinicity, but the food court itself has a lot of fans and has gotten fairly good reviews. Unfortunately, given the paucity of people in the Loop on weekends (I've heard that the place was absolutely empty on a recent Sunday before this deal started), I can't imagine they were doing a rockin' brunch business. Their slowness is your gain. They actually launched this back in February, but I just got tipped off, and I'm glad I did.

For $25 per person, you get all-you-can-eat access to all of their food stands (complete menu below) as well as two brunch cocktails, including a bloody mary bar and lots of great drink options. Not a drinker? For $17, you get the food without the booze.

The list of dishes includes things like oysters on the half shell (all you can eat oysters for $25 is a deal all by itself), breakfast tacos, sushi, ceviche, egg aeropuerto, and even a waffle bacon burger that sounds like a scary and delicious mess (a burger, topped with a fried egg, between two Belgian waffles). The only restriction is that you only get to eat for two hours. Oh, and kids 4-11 are just $8.50.

Come hungry and seriously clean up.
