The Chicago White Sox's home opener is Friday, and Chance the Rapper will throw out the first pitch. But today is an equally important day in White Sox history: It's the day the team gives out free food downtown from the White Sox food truck. (Yes, the White Sox own a food truck.)
The "Bite Sox" truck will be rolling through downtown, serving up free ballpark concessions from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, the Tribune reports. Dishes will include sample-size portions of bratwurst, hot dogs, and a bacon on a stick.
Here's the truck's schedule:
* Michigan and Lake at 11 a.m.
* Michigan and Monroe at 12:10 p.m.
* Clark and Monroe at 2:30 p.m.
* Wacker and Adams at 4 p.m.
And here's a visual on this truck:
