Lost Lake Re-Opens After Electrical Fire

Award-winning Logan Square tiki bar Lost Lake closed in late March because of an electrical fire in the kitchen. Initially, it was slated to re-open within a week, but the damage proved more extensive than originally thought, and the restaurant announced on April 1 that we'd be deprived of tiki goodness for the indefinite future.

Well, they're back open!

Lost Lake posted an Instagram video last night that indicated their re-opening.

With the help and support of our hospitality community — as well as some very scientific cleaning methods — we're turning on the tiki light tonight! Let us shake you a daiquiri, 4pm-2am. 🌴

We reached out to their representative, who confirmed they re-opened for business yesterday at 4:00 p.m. We're glad to see that the bar wasn't down for too long.
