As of 7:45 a.m., Midway International Airport has cancelled more than 90 flights due to dense fog. It's literally so thick that the National Weather Service issued a "Dense Fog Advisory" for Chicago, warning we'd have less than a quarter mile of visibility.

The warning cleared at 10 a.m., though. We made it! O'Hare International Airport was always operating normally—nothing to worry about there—but Midway travelers might want to double-check their flights, just to be safe.

And if you want to see the fog for yourself, here's a beautiful time lapse video of fog rolling across downtown's rooftops (skyscrapertops?) as the sun rises.
