Are you ready to see what Saved By The Max, the Wicker Park diner paying tribute to Saved By The Bell will look like? The artist rendering above gives us our first glimpse of what to expect when the diner and club opens its doors on June 1.

The diner is taking over the space vacated by SFCO at 1941 W. North Ave., and organizers tell us the interior is nearing completion. It was also announced this week that cuisine is being overseen by Chef Brian Fisher, formerly of Schwa.

The pop-up was initially only going to be open for a month, but tickets to guarantee dinner reservation sold out so quickly organizers have decided to keep its doors open through the end of August.

Tickets for dinner reservations in July and August are still available. The venue’s brunch, late night, and special events will all be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
