Photos: Do Division Kicks Off Street Fest Season With Sausages And Sun

By Mae Rice in Arts & Entertainment on Jun 6, 2016 4:01PM

This past weekend, Do Division took over the stretch of Division Street from Ashland to Leavitt with all the classics of street fest season: sausages, hot hot weather and live music. The festival, in fact, had two live music stages—one curated by the Empty Bottle, the other by the Subterranean—that hosted acts from Doomtree to Beach Fossils.

Other festival highlights, documented by Chicagoist photographer Tyler LaRiviere, included a fashion show (featuring some pro-level watch modeling), ponies (ponies!), and a cameo from Princess Elsa of Frozen fame. Browse the gallery and buckle up your jorts for a summer of non-stop street fests. (Next on our radar: Midsommarfest in Andersonville this coming weekend.)
