This utterly bonkers photograph was taken this morning around 8:30 a.m. along the stretch of Milwaukee Avenue that overlooks the expressway, between Ohio and Erie streets.

Noble Square man Johnny Major, 37, was on foot, making his ordinary morning commute when he happened upon the extraordinary scene and snapped the image. "The guy was up there. I attempted to talk to him, but got nervous: 'Am I gonna make him nervous?'" he told Chicagoist of his exchange with the unidentified daredevil. “He mumbled, and I thought, “I better shut up.” The passerby seen in the middle ground did not attempt to engage the fence-walker, Major said.

There were not reported injuries or related arrests made on the overpass, according to Chicago Police Department News Affairs.
