The CTA on Friday unveiled renderings of the new 95th Street Terminal upgrade—a $280 million dollar project that the city says will offer increased safety and efficiency. The southernmost Red Line stop is one of the busiest stations on the city's busiest L line.

The design, by architectural firm exp, maintains the covered bus bays and pedestrian walkways while adding a splash of bright red color.

A statement by CTA also announced the #26 South Shore Express bus will begin extended weekday service on Monday, June 20, the first of the planned developments for the area.
