The hits keep coming for Revival Food Hall, the gigantic food hall planned for the Loop this summer. Now, we've learned that two new vendors, including one of the best gelato makers around, are joining the project.

Revival, which we gave you a sneak peek of last week, already has announced participants Antique Taco, Furious Spoon, Farmer's Fridge and more. Now, we've gotten word that Black Dog Gelato and Harvest Juicery are joining the lineup.

Black Dog makes some of our favorite gelato in the city. They're so good they made our list of awesome ice creams that you need to try this city. What this means: every Loop-dweller just gained 10 pounds. It also means that Revival is doing a really bang up job of fulfilling its promise of bringing unique, delicious vendors from out in Chicago's neighborhoods to the Loop.

For a business like Black Dog to open its own storefront downtown would (presumably) be prohibitively expensive, but this project, in addition to being gorgeous, is allowing those businesses to flourish and get massive exposure. We can't wait to see what is announced next.
