Seth Meyers Throws Chicago Under, Says Trump Should Play 'Chicago President' For NBC

For all the myriad ways in which the Donald Trump phenomenon spells trouble, the orange-flavored xenophobe is certainly good business for at lest one trade: late-night comedy. The host of Late Night with Seth Meyers got in some witty jabs on Wednesday night's broadcast—and the Evanston-born Northwestern University alum also threw in a dash of Chicago spice.
In exchange for Trump dropping out of the presidential race before the convention, Meyers offered Trump his own 13-episode NBC series in which the Donald could play president without any of the real-world responsibilities he seems not all that crazy about. (He has no fundraising, no full campaign staff, and no ads, Meyers reminds. Not exactly a rousing effort.)
But, of course, the series would have to fit the network's established Chicago-centric pattern.
"Because it's on NBC, the show would be based in Chicago and be called Chicago President." NBC is home to Chicago P.D., Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago Water Management. (OK, we made that last one up.)
Meyer's casting suggestions are pretty on point: Megan Fox as First Lady ("gorgeous, sexy, classy, and most importantly not age appropriate") and indie beta-male favorite Michael Cera as Paul Ryan, so Trump can wish-fulfill all his bullying desires.
We won't spoil the rest. Enjoy.
