Less than a week after his surprise guest appearance at Mamby on the Beach, Chance the Rapper is making another local guest appearance, this one at Taste of Chicago in Grant Park on Wednesday night. It looks like he'll appear with his longtime pal and Surf collaborator Donnie Trumpet, who's opening for The Roots.

Chance announced his plans to play the Taste on Twitter on Tuesday:

Tickets to the show are sold out, but don't give up hope—you can watch the shows for free from Butler Field, the lawn area near the Petrillo Music Shell.

Also, according to the city, the show will actually start at 5:30 p.m.—but we'd show up at 5 p.m. just to be safe. What's worse: waiting half an hour, or missing local hero and Whirlyball reformer Chance the Rapper?
