On Saturday, bike-and-beer festival Tour de Fat rolled through Logan Square's Palmer Square. The free cycling festival featured wacky bikes termed "rideable art," a slow-riding contest, and live music from Dr. Dog and Mucca Pazza.
Our photographer Annie Lesser went to capture the festivities and ask cyclists about their bikes. Her field notes: Most attendees had multiple bikes; there were "goth clowns" on the scene; and the food lines were long. Like, disruptively long.
It's really better seen through her photos, though—check them out above.
