Hang Out With A Parade Of Puppies In The Loop On Friday

There will be a literal puppy parade downtown on Friday at lunchtime. Volunteers will walk puppies, all of them up for adoption, from the Anti-Cruelty Society shelter (where they live) to Prudential Plaza (where they will hang out for 30 minutes, waiting for you and only you to love them).

There will be at least six puppies on parade, and maybe more, Michael Garritty of the Anti-Cruelty Society told Chicagoist. (The Anti-Cruelty Society is organizing the event.) So no, it's not a full-fledged parade by Pride standards—but by puppy parade standards, it's perfect. Especially because you could adopt any and all of the puppies.
