In the post-salary cap landscape, Blackhawks fans are extremely familiar with having to let go of valuable assets. Now, it looks like Hawks defenseman Brent Seabrook is doing a little divesting of his own. The Tribune reports that the three-time Cup winner and Olympic gold medalist is selling his five-bed, three-bath Roscoe Village home for an asking price of $1.35 million. Seabrook had the home built after purchasing the lot for $595,000 back in 2006. Seabrook and his wife, Dayna, now live in six-bedroom mansion in Lakeview, with a classic, century-plus-old wooden-frame house close by.)
Potential buyers can get a closer look on Tuesday: an open house is scheduled for August 2, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Seabrook's teammates Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane both put property on the market earlier this year, also.
