Two Teenagers Were Shot Tuesday Night, In Logan Square And Kenwood

Two teenage boys were shot within an hour of each other in separate incidents on Tuesday night, a police spokeswoman told Chicagoist.

Police responded to a call of shots fired at 9:10 p.m. in the 3700 block of West Wrightwood, in Logan Square. A 15-year-old boy had suffered a gunshot wound to the neck, according to police. He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital and listed in stable condition

A 14-year-old boy was standing on the front porch of a house in the 5000 block of S. Drexel Ave., in Kenwood, when, at 9:53 p.m., a person in a black sedan fired. The boy suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg. He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital and listed in stable condition, police said. The shooting took place mere blocks from President Obama’s home in the neighborhood.

No one is in custody for either shooting as of Wednesday morning.

At lest eleven people were shot between Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, according to the Tribune.
