Found, Amy Morton's restaurant in Evanston, has gotten nothing but raves since it opened in 2012. Given that success, and the restaurant boom Evanston is in the midst of, it's hardly surprising that Morton and her chef/partner, Nicole Pederson, is opening another restaurant. And given the Morton family history of steakhouses, we should have expected that there would be some serious meat involved.

The Barn, Morton and Peterson's new restaurant, is slated to open in September, according to a release received by Chicagoist. The restaurant, housed in a brick barn accessible via an alleyway, used to be the horse stable for Borden Condensed Milk back in the 19th century. While details on the menu are still scarce, Morton told the Tribune that the restaurant is going to be a version of a steakhouse: "a sort-of mashup of the sophisticated Arnie's [the restaurant owned by Morton's father] and the beef-focused Morton's The Steakhouse."

Given how consistently amazing Found is, we can only imagine that this will be a great addition to the Evanston scene. We'll report more on the details as we get them.
