Video: Get A Pilot's-Eye View Of Landing At O'Hare

It's kind of like sitting in the front row of a roller coaster with an invisible track and a particularly tall drop. The nifty video the pilots behind the TT Aviation YouTube channel posted Monday takes viewers inside the cockpit as an aircraft lands at O'Hare, lake views, sunshine and all. According to the post, the footage captures a Boeing 777 landing at the airport.
TT Aviation's channel, which appears to be based in Turkey and describes its content as "Aviation videos from an airline pilot," has been posting weekly take-off and landing videos from locations all over the world including Beijing, Miami, London and Istanbul since joining YouTube in March. Though they're all relatively straight-forward shots, it's still interesting to compare the experience of landing a plane in smoggy China with Chicago's lakefront sprawl. (The pilots were probably pretty psyched to swing by O'Hare newly opened Publican outpost once they got here.)
Chicagoist has reached out to TT Aviation to find out some more details about their videos and will update this post if we hear back.
