Chance The Rapper Recovered Thousands Of Scalped Festival Tickets
By Stephen Gossett in Arts & Entertainment on Sep 9, 2016 7:00PM
Chance the Rapper is a principled, formally accomplished artist who, by appearances, still seems pretty down to earth despite skyrocketing success—all of which explains why he has some of the most loyal, rabid fans this side of the Beyhive. He's done that fanbase a further solid over the last few days: Chance bought up nearly 2,000 tickets for his hotly-anticipated, previously sold-out Magnificent Coloring Day festival. The first festival to be held at what is still U.S. Cellular Field dagnabbit is slated for Sept. 24 and is scheduled to include Skrillex, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, Tyler the Creator, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, and more.
Chance tweeted on Wednesday that had reacquired tickets from scalpers and made them available through his website (limit two per order). On Friday he revealed that the recovered tix numbered in the thousands.
We found some tix that scalpers bought up for #MCD and took them back. Avail NOW! Limit 2 per person. https://t.co/m5rYnxzNGY

Magnificent Coloring Day tickets didn't last very long during the first window, and they probably won't this time either. You can find tickets here (while they last) and don't forget to say thank you.
