Female Jogger Choked In River North On Saturday Morning

Chicago police are alerting residents of River North after a female jogger was attacked in the neighborhood.

The attacker, a white male, followed the victim on Saturday morning, at about 5:50 a.m., to the 200 block of W Kinzie Ave. He then grabbed the victim, choked her and threw her to the ground, according to police. He then fled when a bystander arrived.

The attacker was further described as approximately 5’6” - 5’10”, medium build. He is pictured wearing a black cap, black T-shirt and khaki shorts in a surveillance image released by Chicago police.
