Music festivals can grind you down. Even the best curated ones can leave you feeling exhausted after so many hours in the sun and (chances are) the sight of overly familiar, fest-circuit regulars. So maybe it was the novelty or the single-day truncation or the fat-free pedigree of the bill, but Magnificent Coloring Day—the music festival created by Chance the Rapper that debuted at US Cellular Field on Saturday—seemed to almost entirely sidestep fatigue.
