Video: Cubs Fan Tattooed 'Curse Broken' On His Leg, So We Don't Have To Worry

Cubs fans are a notoriously superstitious lot, whether it's obsessing about Joe Maddon's facial hair, a satanist curse, or Back to the Future.

So we were surprised to see a fan so into the thought of the Cubs possibly winning the World Series this year—a possibility, yes, but not something that's happened in many, many decades—that's he's already sealed the deal, permanently, in tattoo form. Check out this video, in which he reveals his "Holy Cow!! Cubs, World Series Champions, Curse Broken" tattoo:

Meet Noel, of Des Moines, Iowa who explained to 1460 KXNO why he tempted fate ahead of the Cubs' 2016 playoffs run after winning a free tattoo from Lucky Gal Tattoo. His faith in the Cubs is more than skin deep (sorry!); when asked what he would do if the Cubs don't win the World Series, he said he's optimistic.

"They will win. As a Cubs fan, you've got to be optimistic. They will win. Statistically, this is the best year they've had since 1945. They're set to win, they will win," he said. "If they don't, I've still got a pretty awesome tattoo."

"You can still wear pants for the rest of your life if you need to," the 1460 KXNO interviewer replied.

We're honestly not sure how baseball curses work, but we think this means that every Cubs fan needs to get one of these tattoos now.
