Photos: Cubs Fans Celebrate Their NLDS Game 1 Win Against The Giants

Cubs fans took to the streets to celebrate (and in some cases, to eat goat sausage) as the Cubs won their playoff opener against the San Francisco Giants.
The Cubs won 1-0 in Game One of the National League Division Series, bringing their hopes of a historic championship win a little bit closer, thanks to a gem from starting pitcher Jon Lester and Javy Baez home run in the 8th inning. It was a tense home game, full of celebrity sighting (Bill Murray, Eddie Vedder, Dwyane Wade and Mike Ditka were all spotted in the stadium), and Cubs manager Joe Maddon told reporters it was a game that needed a home run.
“It was a classic kind of an old school baseball game,” Maddon said. “More than likely a game like that would end with a home run. Fortunately it happened for us.”
Meanwhile, in hopes of defeating the so-called curse against the Cubs, a local butcher passed out goat-meat sausages in a bloodied apron:
