Someone Has Been Setting Fires & Molotov Cocktails In Lincoln Park

Someone has been setting fires in Lincoln Park using molotov cocktails and other flammable liquids, police warned in a Thursday afternoon alert.
The alert, which applies to the 18th police district on the Near North Side, says someone is committing arson using "improvised incendiary devices, molotov cocktails and flammable liquids" at the following locations throughout the year:
•1900 Block of North Clifton Avenue on Feb. 29 at 02:15 a.m.
•1200 Block of West Cortland Avenue on March 14 at 00:01 a.m.
•1700 Block of North Kingsbury Street on March 26 at 01:03 a.m.
•1000 Block of West North Avenue on April 19 at 01:30 a.m.
•1900 Block of North Kingsbury Street on Sep. 11 at 01:03 a.m.
•1900 Block of North Clifton Avenue on Oct. 10 at 01:30 a.m.
The locations are all near the popular Ranch Triangle shopping area, but occurred in the early morning hours when most area businesses are closed.
Police say the arsonist is a white or white Hispanic man in his early 20s, 5’-08” to 6’-00” and 160-180 lbs, and drives a Silver Ford Mustang with damage on its passenger side.
