Video: Watch Will Ferrell Resurrect Classic Harry Caray Impression On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

Even if you don’t know the outfield from The Outfield, this Cubs postseason has been a ton of fun for one simple fact: a lot of seriously hilarious comedians are diehards for the North Side squad. Exhibits A and B would probably Bill Murray’s White House press-room crash and Nick Offerman’s genius troll job of St. Louis.

But the sheer scale of the situation means we’re getting comedy gold even from Cubs agnostics. The latest winner came on Monday night, when Will Ferrell stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! in full unkempt, unintelligible glory to reprise his classic Harry Caray impersonation.

Ferrell surprises Kimmel during the opening monologue, strolling out as the resurrected Caray with a box of Wetzel’s Pretzels that he disperses among the crowd (read: confusingly drops on the floor) and a can of Budweiser. (The fact it’s not Old Style makes it smell like paid product placement, but the clip is hilarious nonetheless.) "Caray" also reminisces about Donald Trump throwing half-dollar coins at the Dominican players and recommends President Barack Obama, who was also a guest on last night's show, open a shrimp shack after his term, because why not?

And if you have half-an-hour to kill, NBC has vintage Ferrell-as-Caray clips available at this rabbit hole. Here's a classic, from back in 1996.

And the previously mentioned Obama was no comedic slouch either. Check him out in a second edition of Mean Tweets. (Sample burn: "I bet Obama likes mustard on his hot dogs because he's gross.")
