Video: Watch 'Go Cubs Go'-Singing Light Show Win Halloween

Why wait until Christmas to deck out the house in a creepily elaborate, Griswoldian display of lights and music, especially when the twin overlap of Halloween and a Cubs' World Series berth offer the perfect excuse?

That seems to be the thought behind this bizarre-but-amazing creation, courtesy of a Cubs-loving couple from Nebraska with a lot of free time full-blown playoff fever, Sabrina and Paul Faire. You probably never imagined a Halloween-themed light show replete with "Go, Cubs, Go" light-up lip-synching. Now that you've seen it, you can never forget.

“When we bought our own house, we wanted to have a cool Halloween display,” Sabrina told NBC Chicago. “As for the Cubs song, Paul started it last year but didn’t finish it. I asked him if he could do “Go, Cubs, Go” if they went to the World Series, so he was able to use what we had to finish it."

On the scale of recent "Go, Cubs, Go" interpolations, we rank this closer to the excellent UChicago carillion performance than The Hood Internet's ambitious-yet-flawed mashup with Chance The Rapper's "No Problem."

Go, Nebraska, go.
