Watch This Robot Dinosaur Devour Pumpkins In Its Metal Jowls

Tis the season for pumpkins, and where do you get pumpkins? At a pumpkin patch, of course. We visited Goebbert's Pumpkin Patch in Hampshire, Illinois this weekend and found corn mazes, pumpkins, apple cider, farm animals and lots of the other things one usually finds at a pumpkin patch. We also found something we didn't expect.
We didn't quite know what to make of this orange thing, but then it started moving, picking up pumpkins in its metal jaws, blowing smoke out of its nose and growling menacingly. It's like something out of a Halloween fever dream.
Now we'd never seen anything like this before, but clearly generations of children have enjoyed this device, since as soon as it went on social media, there were two types of responses: "What the hell is that?" and "Ooh, Goebberts!"
Check out some other videos. Unfortunately, Goebberts has sparked some controversy over its treatment of actual animals. Perhaps they should stick to awesome robots?
