Here's ESPN's Special Cubs-Themed 'This Is SportsCenter' To Mark World Series Win

"This Is SportsCenter" ads have long been a staple of ESPN TV (I assume, I've been watching pirate streams of games for years now), so it's not surprising that the Worldwide Leader In Sports made one specifically about the Cubs win.

What's nice is the mundane nature of it all, with anchor Jay Harris just resetting the workplace accident-like "YEARS SINCE THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES" sign to 0. There's a real workplace accident sign next to it, and there's also one awaiting the return of the ultimate sports workplace accident, The Buttfumble. There'll be time of course to get Kris Bryant and Jake Arrieta's Civil War beard and Ben Zobrist their cameos in SportsCenter commercials and for FirstTake to argue that Cubs are actually bad. For now though, it's business as usual at ESPN.
