Remember Revival? The giant new food hall in the loop? We reviewed every restaurant there a few weeks ago, and if you haven't been, it's definitely worth a visit. The only problem was that it was only open Monday-Friday, so if you weren't a Loop worker, you probably weren't going to make it in for a meal.

That's changed, as of this Saturday, Nov. 12. The food hall and all of its vendors will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. In addition, there are going to be new brunchy items from many of the vendors. The Budlong, one of our favorites, is doing a fried chicken and champagne special. There will be bloody mary carts (!) all over the food hall to get you liquored up. It's sure to be a party.

Will anyone actually come to the loop for breakfast on a Saturday morning? That remains to be seen—the neighborhood can be pretty dead when there isn't a special event, and Revival isn't that close to Millennium Park or the Museum Campus. But if anything will bring people in, it's this great selection of independent restaurants.
