Service was suspended for five hours on parts of the Pink and Green Line on Tuesday morning when a man ran along stretches of the tracks in West Town.
According to ABC7, the man was spotted hanging on the side of the tracks at around 7:30 am, on Lake Street between Carpenter and Aberdeen. Police negotiators reportedly put a large inflatable air bag underneath the tracks and tried to talk the man down for hours. He eventually jumped into the air bag, uninjured, according to authorities.
The CTA reported just before 8:00 a.m. that all service had been restored.
