Police say they have found the man they were looking for who allegedly followed and elderly woman into her home in Chicago Lawn and robbed her last week.

Olajuwon Claiborne, 26, of Woodlawn, was charged with six felonies, including home invasion, aggravated battery of a 60+ year-old victim, and robbery for entering the home of a 94-year-old woman on Dec. 7, battering her and taking her purse. The woman was treated for injuries at MacNeal Hospital after the attack.

Claiborne was arrested by police in the 6900 block of South Harper Avenue on Dec. 9 and identified as the person responsible for two other robberies and a separate instance of aggravated battery, police said in an alert Monday afternoon. Police released a photo in a previous alert last week seeking help identifying the person responsible for the home invasion and robbery.
