Pipeworks, Winner Of Our Best Beer Bracket, Will Open Bottle Shop Soon

Last night, Josh Noel, the beer guru at the Chicago Tribune, teased us with a promise of information to come.
There will be some news with your morning coffee, beer lover. It might or might not have to do with @PipeworksBrewin. But it probably does.

Now we know what he was referring to. Pipeworks Brewing, one of the most popular breweries in Chicago (and, back in the day, winner of our "best beer in Chicago bracket") has been trying to open a store for a very long time. But it's finally happening, which is a boon to lovers of the brand, which can occasionally be hard to find at retail locations.
The new bottle shop and, eventually, growler-filling spot will be in a corner of their brewery at 3912 W. McLean Ave., and it'll be pretty simple—just growler lines and a cooler for bottles. But at least you'll always know where to find the beer! It'll be open for business on Dec. 29.
