5 Injured In CTA Bus Crash Thursday In Greater Grand Crossing

Five people were injured in a Greater Grand Crossing CTA bus crash Thursday morning, according to the CTA.
A #75 CTA bus heading east hit a vehicle near the intersection of 75th Street and King Drive shortly before noon Thursday.
Three people who were injured were riding the bus at the time, including the bus operator, a CTA spokesman told Chicagoist. Two people were taken to area hospitals in serious-to-critical condition, and three were taken to other hospitals in fair-to-serious condition, the Sun-Times reports. The #75 bus was temporarily re-routed by the CTA this afternoon, but the re-route has ended.
