2 Teenagers Killed In Garfield Park Shooting Tuesday Afternoon

Two teenage boys were fatally shot in Garfield Park Tuesday afternoon, and a woman was wounded.

The shooting took place around noon in the 3400 block of West Fulton Street, according to police, and was possibly a drive-by. One 16 year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was taken to Stroger Hospital in grave condition, where he was pronounced. The woman, 65, was shot in the leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition.

The shooting was one of several in the city Tuesday afternoon. A 32-year-old man was shot in the shoulder while riding in a car in the 6900 block of South Wentworth Avenue around 12:50 p.m., and another 32-year-old man was shot in the right armpit while driving his car near the intersection of 79th Street and King Drive, according to police.
