Chicago's No Pants Subway Ride Is Back This Weekend

By Rachel Cromidas in Arts & Entertainment on Jan 5, 2017 7:39PM

Chicago's pants-free commuters will ride again Sunday as part of the annual Improv Everywhere event the No Pants Subway Ride. With highs a few degrees below freezing in the forecast, it should be a very cold and very fun ride.

Participants will be convening at the CTA Red Line's Loyola Station at noon Saturday, and boarding the train around 12:30 p.m. to head south. Loyola's is an above ground platform, of course, so organizers ask you to dress accordingly:

WEAR: Everything you would normally wear on a 25 Degree day. including pants. AND UNDERWEAR. Please make sure underwear covers everything! Remember we are not out to offend anyone. All private bits should be kept... Private. Wear what you would normally wear! (hats, scarves, gloves... etc) Do NOT wear a costume. (only a select few are supposed to do this to be easily visible!)

As in years past, cities around the country are also participating in similar no-pants rides, including New York and D.C. Maybe Mike Pence will show up?
