A 23-year-old Chicago man has been arrested in the recent home invasion in Bucktown that left neighbors rattled.

Edward Malone, of the 10900 Block of South Indiana, faces one felony count of home invasion and one felony count kidnapping while armed with a firearm, according to police.

Malone allegedly entered the victim’s apartment in the 2100 block of West Concord Place through a back door around 11 p.m. on New Year’s Day, “fondled” the 31-year-old victim and stole personal items, according to police. The offender also forced the victim to take off her clothes and tied her up before stealing electronic devices and a bicycle, WGN reported.

Malone’s is scheduled to appear in bond court on Friday.
