You might be penguin-waddling to work this morning, according to a freezing rain advisory from the National Weather Service.
The Service warned that weather conditions will be prime for ice accumulation between Thursday and Friday, and a weather advisory due to freezing rain was in effect this morning.
"A period of freezing rain...sleet...and thunderstorms early this morning will create very hazardous driving and walking conditions...especially along and south of I-88," the service said in an announcement.
As for the general weather outlook, expect temperatures in the high 20s and low 30s, and an end to the rain from here out. It's also been foggy af out there for the past day, as several office- and Loop-bound photographers have already documented:

For those of you who saw The Queen, Chicago's Loop is super scary right now with thick fog. That shadow is the Sears Tower. pic.twitter.com/sRFx5mr6sv
