Hopleaf To Donate Percentage Of Sales To Planned Parenthood On 'Trump-Free' Friday

One of our favorite bar/restaurants in Chicago just endeared themselves a little more. Andersonville institution Hopleaf announced itself a "Trump-Free Zone" for Friday's inauguration.

The swearing-in will not be televised, the bar pledged in a recent Facebook post. Better still, they'll donate ten percent of Friday's drink sale revenues to Planned Parenthood.

The post reads: "This Friday may be an occasion where you'll want to take a drink or two. With No TVs & No Screens, Hopleaf is a Trump-Free Zone. On Inauguration Day we'll be donating 10% of the day's drink sale revenues to Planned Parenthood."

If you're looking for a glass of sanity on Friday—to go with among the city's best mussels and Belgian beers, of course—you know where to head. Something to keep in mind for before or after one of the many protests that day.
