Protests were already mobilizing in full force in Washington D.C. ahead of Donald Trump's official swearing in; and similar demonstrations are set to kick off here in Chicago later this afternoon and into the night.
But the locals weren't exactly sitting on their hands on Friday morning: this "Chinga La Migra" banner was spotted on Friday morning on a West Side overpass. The anti-immigration police sentiment is no doubt a reflection of fears of an anti-immigrant crackdown under Donald Trump.

The Tweet was sent by a group advocating for a student walkout scheduled for 10 a.m. with a meet-up in Wicker Park.
