Sure, Kanye, Drake and the Biebs have all announced they won't be attending the 59th Grammy Awards on Feb.12, but we don't really care now that Chance The Rapper has been confirmed to perform at the ceremony.

Chance is making major waves at the Grammys as the first artist with no label affiliation (and whose release Coloring Book is available via streaming only) to be nominated for any major awards. The noms acted as a nice capper to a year that has seen the Chicago musician continue to grow in stature and garner national attention, all while releasing some of the most uplifting and positive music of his career. That's truly a feat in these trying times.

Chance is nominated for Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap/Sung Performance (as a guest on Kanye West's "Ultralight Beam"), Best Rap Album and he's nominated THREE times in the Best Rap Song category (for "Ultralight Beam," "No Problem," and "Famous").

Other artists performing throughout the evening include Adele, Daft Punk and The Weeknd, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Metallica, Maren Morris, Anderson .Paak, A Tribe Called Quest, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and—of course—Dave Grohl. Because the only person appearing more places than Chance over the last year is Dave Grohl.
