If your Super Bowl party went late and you happened to still be up at around 1:30 a.m. this morning, you may have caught a truly spectacular celestial scene.
A meteor shower passed over the Chicago early on Monday, with more than 100 people in the area reporting the massive fireball scene. It was reportedly most visible in Chicago and Wisconsin, but was large enough to garner reports as far as Minnesota and Ontario.
The eye-widening light show was captured in a few arresting video clips, including some dashcam video taken in Illinois and Wisconsin and a stationary cam at UW-Madison's Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Space Sciences building.
